The UNIFOR Complex is a landmark government development situated along Jalan Ong Tiang Swee, owned by the Unit for Other Religions (UNIFOR) Charitable Trust. Recognised for its bold, iconic, and contemporary architectural style, the complex has quickly become one of Kuching’s most talked-about modern structures.
UGI is proud to contribute to this prestigious development. The building incorporates our UNILOK® profile in premium COLORBOND® steel, enhancing its clean lines, long-lasting durability, and refined overall finish.
This award-winning project received the Silver Award in the Commercial High Rise Category at the PAM Awards 2025, further cementing its status as a standout architectural achievement. Designed by Ar. David Ong of David Ong Architect, the complex continues to draw attention for its striking form and distinctive presence in the cityscape.
In addition to its aesthetic excellence, the UNIFOR Complex has also achieved a Provisional Green Building Index (GBI) ‘Certified’ rating, reflecting its commitment to sustainable construction.
UNIFOR, established in 2017, plays a vital role in supporting the needs and welfare of non-Islamic religious communities across Sarawak. The development of this complex marks a significant step in strengthening that mission.
